1. Introduction

DotsDays (“the Extension”) is a developer tool designed to improve the usability of the Attentia holiday portal. This policy outlines our commitment to your data privacy and security in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy.

2. Data Collection

DotsDays does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

• Volatile Processing: The extension reads numerical hour values on specifically allowed Attentia.be pages to perform mathematical conversions. These values never leave your browser memory and are discarded immediately after display.
• No Tracking: We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics engines (like Google Analytics).
• No External Communication: The extension does not communicate with any external servers or APIs.

3. Storage

The only data persisted by the extension is your Configuration Settings (e.g., your workday length of 7.8 hours). This is stored using chrome.storage.sync, which is a local browser feature that may sync your settings across your own devices if you are logged into Chrome.

4. Permissions Disclosure

To function correctly, we request the following permissions:

• Storage: To remember your preferred workday length and language settings.
• ActiveTab / Scripting: To identify and convert time strings (e.g., “54u36”) into days within the Attentia portal UI.

5. Security

Because DotsDays works entirely offline (locally), your data is protected by your browser’s own security sandbox. We do not maintain any backend databases, eliminating the risk of centralized data breaches.
